Everybody cherishes the memories of college days. Young minds fly with the colours of friendship, love and fun in those unforgettable days in college life.
Collage campuses are supposed to be the platforms where one can expose and polish his/her talents and skills. Our campuses were always lively and energized by creative minds. But today they have taken on a serious mood. A few still exists filling our minds with nostalgic feelings. Serious classrooms, strict attendance restrictions, continuous assessments-all have made the atmosphere more tensed. Students of government colleges do enjoy a lot more freedom. Those who study in management run colleges miss out a relaxed, fun-filled college life. Students are literally squeezed with loads of rules and restrictions. It is true that these colleges try to provide better quality of education. But in their attempt to maintain the campus more disciplined, they are curbing students’ right to enjoy campus life. Arts, sports and cultural activities are also not much supported.
Students also do not show enough boldness and united efforts to question the wrong policies and unwanted restrictions taken by the authorities. In some of these colleges students’ unions also does not exist. So there is no way to voice the grievances of students. Unexplained rise in fees, hostel charges etc. are silently accepted by them. Those who dare to oppose are threatened with warnings of suspensions and dismissals. Though the pain of parting with friends and college life still exists, students are now eager to get out of these colourless campuses.

Thank you for giving ur opinion frnd…
We hav always been complaining to the management about al this. But they never bother to listen. We did a strike in our hostel for better security arrangements. One of my friend was threatened with suspension when she provided proof for their lack of responsibility… But we pay them and accept their ultimate superioty that s wat happens at last…
And i strongly disagree with your comment that girls are stupids to take decisions..may be you better change that view.
